Suno co-designer Max Osterweis was a filmmaker just before he was a designer so its no surprise that his 1st style film for the label (that he patterns with Erin Beatty) is a first-fee thriller. Its set at the famed Astor Courts, the mansion created for John Jacob Astor IV by OG starchitect Stanford White again in 1904, and was directed by Gordon Harrison Hull, co-founder and former Innovative Director of Surface to Air. The dilapidated state of the Rhinebeck, NY manse gives a persuasive and eerie background for a movie featuring Sunos cheery garments, design Sessilee Lopez, and a trunk sinking in a swimming pool.
